Marvin was appointed as Senior Vice President Product and Services from 21 March 2016 and re-titled as Senior Vice President Customer Services and Operations from 10 November 2017.  In his current role, he is responsible for Airport Operations, Customer Affairs, Customer Contact Services and Ground Experience Development.

Marvin joined Singapore Airlines in 1996, as Cadet Administrative Officer.  Since then, he has held various appointments both in Singapore and overseas, including the airline’s Senior Vice President for Cabin Crew (2012-2016).  Marvin’s other previous appointments in the SIA Group include Chief Executive SilkAir (on secondment to Singapore Airlines’ regional subsidiary), Divisional Vice President Customer Services, Vice President Ground Services, General Manager UK & Ireland, General Manager Vietnam, Manager Chubu (based in Nagoya, Japan) and Marketing Services Manager Taiwan.

Marvin has served on the board of Virgin Australia Holdings Ltd and as a Board Director for Scoot Pte Ltd.  He holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in International Relations from Stanford University.
