M. Francisco de Miguel

Antonio

Francisco de Miguel (born 1944) is a Spanish national who joined the multinational Van Leer Group in 1968 and has held several managerial positions. In 1998 was appointed Strategic Business Manager for Van Leer’s operations in Latin America. He joined the Executive Board of Van Leer in 1995. During the period in which Mr. de Miguel was member of the Executive Board of Van Leer, the company launched an IPO.

In 1999 he was appointed Chairman of the Executive Board of Royal Packaging Industries Van Leer N.V.

In 2000, with the merger Huhtamaki-Van Leer, Mr. de Miguel was appointed Vice Chairman and Division President Industrial Packaging of Huhtamaki-Van Leer. With the divestment to Greif of the Industrial Packaging Division of Huhtamaki-Van Leer, Mr. de Miguel was appointed Industrial Packaging President.

Mr. de Miguel has been member of the Supervisory Board of Mauser Werke.

Mr. de Miguel has a degree in Marketing, an AMP from INSEAD and ISMP from Harvard, among other academic recognitions.

Mr. De Miguel can speak four languages.
